Today see’s our southern based sales team move into their new offices in Chessington. It’s a considerable investment but growth in our business meant there was an urgent need for more space to accommodate a growing sales team and a home which will see us into the future.
Paul Barlow, Managing Director reflects on the success that made the move imperative.
“Last year (2013) we experienced strong growth and broke through the £10 million turnover barrier. The satisfying financials were just part of the good news. We were also rewarded for our expertise in providing solutions when we became a VMware Enterprise solution Provider. This further enhances the partnerships we’ve built with a strong base of partners has been key in helping us grow. And we’ve picked up a lot of interest through our website too. I was really proud of the CRN Reseller Website of the Year award. Our mission to offer a plain, clear promise on customer service is mirrored in the customer friendly design of the website.”
Paul was very clear on the benefits he expects to reap from the move:
“Moving means we can capitalise on last year and reward the team too. It’s a better place to create the imaginative and practical solutions our customers expect. We’ll be able to show our customers a space that really reflects what Servium is about. The location is excellent as are the facilities we have access too, like the onsite gym- there’s a lot to be said for a healthy body making a more productive brain!”
The new offices have dedicated work zones and purpose built meeting rooms themed to match the new company brand. We believe the overall effect is of quiet efficiency lightened by colourful touches of personality. Like Servium, they work hard but leave room for the important things – the people who make up the team.
